Adam brings executive level experience in strategy, operations, finance, and transaction execution as an investor, corporate executive, and strategic advisor.  During his career, he has transaction experience totaling more than $400M in value.

Prior to Abbrio, Adam was Vice President of Strategy and Planning at Commercial Metals Company (NYSE: CMC), where he led a team responsible for acquisitions, divestitures, corporate strategy, and financial planning.

Previously, Adam was a private equity investor at Wingate Partners, a Dallas-based private equity firm focused on “story deals” in the lower middle market.  Adam’s work included all activities from deal screening through transaction execution and hands on support of portfolio companies in the execution of strategic plans.  He was involved in the sourcing and execution of several highly successful Wingate investments, where he remained actively engaged post investment to continue to support growth and provide strategic insights alongside the management teams. 

Adam began his career with Mercer Management Consulting (now Oliver Wyman) executing strategic and operational advisory projects for Fortune 100 clients and smaller companies around the world.  He also focused heavily on buy-side advisory work for various private equity investment firms including both pre-acquisition strategy and diligence, as well as post-closing planning and integration.

Adam holds a B.S. in Economics with Finance from Southern Methodist University.

JOSHUA L. BATCHELOR

Josh has over twenty years of experience in private equity, including deal sourcing, structuring, financing, and executing investment opportunities. 

Josh is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Sage Road Capital, a Houston-based lower middle market private equity fund focused on the upstream oil and gas sector, with over $100MM under management.  Prior to founding Sage Road in 2012, Mr. Batchelor was a Principal at Quantum Energy Partners, a leading energy-focused private equity firm with over $6 billion of capital under management.

Mr. Batchelor also held positions with Behrman Capital, a middle market private equity firm focused on technology, healthcare and business services, and Morgan Stanley Capital Partners (now Metalmark Capital).

Mr. Batchelor holds a B.A. in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences and Economics with honors from Northwestern University.

Joshua Sepkowitz

Joshua is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of FreeRange Concepts, a creative restaurant development and management company.  Under Josh’s leadership, FreeRange owns and operates some of the most successful restaurant and entertainment concepts in Texas. 

Before creating FreeRange Concepts, Joshua spent six years as a director with E2M Partners, a real estate focused private equity firm based in Dallas.  Joshua holds a Master of Business Administration from UT Austin, and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Southern Methodist University.
